About Envault Corporation and Customers
Envault Corporation helps enterprises and government agencies to protect their confidential data against leaks. The company was founded in 2007 and is based in Helsinki-Vantaa, Finland. Envault is owned by private investors, VTT the Technical Research Centre of Finland and management. Our customers are high-end expert organizations ranging from military and healthcare to large enterprises handling highly sensitive and/or confidential information.
About Envault Technology
The innovative Envault encryption technology represents the next generation of data protection, as the access control is based on centralized key management instead of end-user passwords. The data protection itself is also fully automatic, which means that end-users do not need to decide whether a document should be protected or not. This way the technology is able to minimize or completely eliminate the possibility of human error. The protection is always in use and data cannot leak to outsiders by accident. Envault also gives the organization the possibility to remotely manage its data. Envaulted documents can be uniquely suspended or deleted, without any connection to the storage device the document resides on. All accesses to organization’s data – who has read or written a file – can also be tracked from audit logs and reports.
