BNCT, a new‐generation radiation treatment pioneered in Finland, is effective in advanced head and neck cancer

The years of work done on developing and clinically testing of BNCT – or Boron Neutron Capture Therapy – are now paying off. BNCT‐based treatment has been successfully used to treat patients with advanced head and neck cancer who have not responded to previous treatments and generally have poor prognosis.
